What a client sees each month.
The books answer “did we make money?” This page also answers “is our marketing working?” and “what are customers saying?” Most client reports leave those out.
Example only. The clinic and every number below are made up.Summit Spine & Wellness

Is each new patient worth what it costs?
Not every patient is worth the same. This compares what it costs to win a patient from paid marketing with what an average patient brings in over a year.
Marketing is 5% of revenue. Because about 40% of each visit’s fee goes to the cost of care, ads need to bring in at least $1.67 in sales for every $1 spent just to break even. If patients start leaving sooner, this number drops fast, so it is worth watching every month.
What needs a look this month
Four items, in order of importance.
- $4,100 in insurance claims is over 60 days old.Total waiting on insurers is $9,800. Claims this old are often denied if nobody follows up.
- Part of the $2,400 marketing spend is not working.Google Ads brings patients at $82 each. Facebook costs $140 each, and the listing service has no patients traced to it.
- 4 Google reviews are waiting for a reply.Google is your cheapest source of new patients, with 21 this month.
- $6,950 in bills are due in the next 30 days.Your cash covers this more than four times over. No action needed.
This is a bookkeeping summary and not tax or legal advice. In a real report, patient counts by source come from the client, and review numbers come from their Google Business Profile. Patient value uses the client’s own estimate of visits and fees.
How it works.
Send one report
Pick a client and send a P&L or whatever you normally export. Remove the client’s name and any account numbers first.
We write the summary
You get back a one-page summary like the one above, built from your numbers. We tell you anything we are not sure about.
You decide what to do with it
Send it to the client, change it, or throw it away. If it is useful, we talk about doing it every month.
It works from reports you already have.
No new software to learn. The marketing and review sections need a little extra information from the client, and we will tell you exactly what.
It does not replace you or their accountant.
You stay the person the client trusts with the numbers. We do the explaining, and nothing here is tax or legal advice.
